Hi. I'm Gemma Went.
I've been building businesses, mentoring founders, and obsessing over what works in business for over a decade. I run The Lighthouse, where I help expert founders build businesses that compound: trust, capacity, and leverage as a system, not a hustle.
I also run the Conscious AI Collective, which is where AI Unfiltered lives. The Collective exists because I got tired of two extremes: the AI hype merchants on one side, and the AI doom-mongers on the other. Most founders are stuck somewhere in the middle, trying to make sensible decisions with terrible information.
I use AI in my business every day. I've built tools, automations, and entire workflows on it. I've also pulled the plug on AI experiments that weren't working. I've made expensive mistakes. I've had unreasonable wins. I'll talk about all of it.
