Are you consistently engaging with potential clients at each step of their decision-making process? When you’re mapping out your marketing system, look at the top, then look at the bottom of your funnel. Do you have a CLEAR way for them to get from point A to point B, and do they feel cared for the whole way?
Let’s talk about an example:
Say you posted a graphic on Instagram inviting someone into a masterclass of yours. An IDEAL client hops right in - someone you’ve been eyeing for a long time and you’re THRILLED. All you can think about is how excited you are that they’re joining.
Here are some questions to ask yourself to make sure you’re creating that client-first experience:
- Do they have reminder emails going out before the masterclass so they don’t forget?
- How are you posting the replay? Does the replay have everything they need in it? Does it have a call to action and a button for them to check out?
- If they do purchase, what happens next? Do they get an email? Is there any sort of followup?
- What if they don’t purchase at all? Is this where you go radio silent OR do you already have a funnel in place to nurture them into the sale over time?

As a same-day implementable task, draft a follow-up email template that you can use to re-engage leads who haven’t yet made a purchase. Personalize it to reflect your brand’s voice and the common interests or needs of your target audience.
The goal is to bump your clients gently from one point to the next in your funnel. If there’s no encouragement, they don’t know they CAN move on to the next level.
